George King on Art, Advocacy, and Facing an Alzheimer’s Diagnosis

George King, a UK citizen living in Atlanta, Georgia, has spent his life as an artist working across film, theater, writing, and photography. After noticing changes in his short-term memory while playing a word game on his phone, a neurologist confirmed a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. Today, King is on a maintenance dose of the progression-slowing treatment Leqembi and actively documents his journey on Instagram at @dancing.with.delirium.

In this live conversation, King will share his personal story about:

  • Recognizing the early signs of cognitive change

  • Navigating the path to a formal diagnosis

  • Living with Alzheimer’s and managing treatment

  • Using art, photography, and storytelling as a powerful form of patient advocacy
