COMMUNITY EVENT
You are invited to attend the Arkansas Dementia Caregivers Support Group, provided by the Alzheimer’s Association in partnership with the UAMS Schmieding Center for Senior Health & Education. Hosted virtually via Zoom, this monthly group provides a compassionate and supportive space for family members and caregivers of individuals living with dementia to share experiences, gain practical insights, and connect with peers across Arkansas.
Expert Facilitation: Led by Brandi Schneider, LMSW, and Lauren Gale, LSW, from the UAMS Schmieding Center for Senior Health & Education.
Resource Sharing & Support: Gain useful information, exchange coping strategies, and problem-solve care challenges alongside others on a similar path.
Virtual Access: Conducted via Zoom software supplied by UAMS. Participants will need an internet connection via computer, iPad, or smartphone (preferably with video capability).
